As an update to my last post, here are the songs that I've recently been working on:

For the Classroom Dragons:

• Manic Depression (including the vocal parts) - Hendrix
• Ice Cream Man - VH
• Tush - ZZ
• Higher Ground - Stevie Wonder, but we're leaning towards the RHCP version
• Shake a Tailfeather - The Blues Brothers (I think it's Ray Charles, but I'm not sure)
• Shakey Ground - Etta James
• I Want to Take You Higher - Sly & the Family Stone
• Let the Good Times Roll - Freddie King
• Telephone Song - SRV

For Scrap Metal:

• The Green Manalishi - Judas Priest
• Cold Gin - KISS
• Enter Sandman - Metallica
• Rock and Roll Ain't Noise Pollution - AC/DC
• [a nice lounge song surprise :)]
• Symphony of Destruction (including the vocal parts) - Megadeth
• a VH surprise :)

Almost all of these are relearns of songs I've played before. The one thing that's interesting though is that the last time I played Symphony in a band, I think I was about 18 or 19... I can't believe I thought I could "fake" Marty Friedman's solo back then!!! hahaha!!!  Click here to see how I tackled it this time.
